Highland Avenue & Quakertown
The children of Jim Flora are sad to announce the passing of our father on May 7, 2008.
James A. Flora began his career in the Highland Avenue plant on January 9, 1950, in the Order and Pricing area. He progressed through various assignments, including Order Supervisor and Sales Representative.
Jim transferred to the Quakertown Plant as Order Supervisor on September 1, 1966, as part of the initial start-up crew.
Jim retired as Supervisor, Order Entry from the Quakertown Plant on October 2, 1989, after nearly 40 years of dedicated service to Moore Business Forms.
One of the fondest memories and frequent topic of conversation between our parents was of the retirement party at the Moose Hall in Quakertown hosted by his friends and co workers from the plant, as well the many Moore sales representatives from the Eastern Area who traveled to celebrate with Dad in his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Irene. Final services will be held in Denver, CO with interment at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
